All lanes on the Taconic State Parkway have reopened after a crash earlier Wednesday morning involving a school bus.

Original report

All southbound lanes and one northbound lane of the Taconic State Parkway are closed due to a school bus crash, according to the New York State Police.

The rollover took place around 8:18 a.m. Wednesday north of Bryant Pond Road in Putnam Valley, said Trooper AJ Hicks, a spokesman for the state police.

The mini-bus, from the Tarrytown Union Free School District, had only the driver onboard, who was slightly injured, Hicks said.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident. Hicks said it's not clear what caused the crash.

Motorists should expect long delays with traffic backed up from Bryant Pond Road to Peekskill Hollow Road. Hicks said tow trucks are on the way to remove the bus.
